Every Saturday Best Mommy Life brings you seven things that inspired, made us laugh, smile, giggle, or possibly even belly laugh this past week. We bring you seven new things weekly and hope they will help get your weekend off to a wonderful start. Enjoy!
A Healthy Start To A Fresh New Year
If you’re thinking what I’m thinking, it’s time to get a few new healthy recipes in our hands for fleshing out those New Year’s goals. We like this word goals better than resolutions. If you like tuna fish and avocados, here’s a recipe that looks really interesting. Click the link below to grab this awesome recipe!
Save Some Space In Style
Looking for a way to save a little space around the kitchen sink? We found a neat item just for this, and thought it would be worth sharing. It’s an over the counter sponge holder, and apparently it works with all different types of sinks with few exceptions. Check out this very affordable item by clicking the link below!
Quote Of The Week
“You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every
dog that barks.”

Best Mommy Life Weekly Book
Weekly book pick. Yes, Best Mommy Life certainly recommends good reads from time to time. But starting in 2020 Best Mommy Life’s “Seven on Saturday” will feature a weekly book pick!
This week’s pick is: “Girl Wash Your Face” by Rachel Hollis. It’s a great pick for inspiring us to reach our goals, give life some hustle, and live with a little passion. At times, Hollis comes across a little obnoxious maybe, and throws in a few humble brags, but she’s got sincere humor and shares some fabulous truths. Aimed for women in their 20’s and early 30’s, but definitely can be enjoyed by women of any age.

New Addition In 2020? Here Are Some Helpful Tips!
Need a budget-friendly way to decorate a room for a new baby or child? Try stenciling! There are SO many cute stencils on Etsy, or even Amazon, that you could use to add a lot of flair for little cost. New to stenciling? Here are two tips to help you on your new journey:
- Spray adhesive works great. Use on the back of the stencil and apply to the wall. Wipe any residue away with a wet wipe.
- Use makeup sponges instead of a brush. It gives you that crisp look that you’re wanting. Don’t use too much paint; a little goes a long way!
Quote Of The Week
“The new year stands before us, like a chapter
in a book, waiting
to be written.”
- Melody Beattie
Happy New Year From Best Mommy Life
Finally, we wanted to suggest a few great ideas for things to do on New Years Eve as we ring in a new year and… decade!
Write down a list of accomplishments and successes that 2019 brought you.
Write down a list of things that you learned in 2019.
Create a theme for 2020.
Write down a list of three wishes that you would like to have in 2020.
Watch a great movie.
Cook some healthy foods.
Do something fun to celebrate, even if it’s just camping out in the living room with cozy pajamas and hot cocoa.
If you go out, be safe and DON’T drink and drive!
